"EUTO," a corporations specializing in eco-friendly architectural exterior terracotta made by firing clay, said on the 18th that it won an Innovation Award in the construction and industrial technology institutional sector at CES 2026 for its independently developed architectural solution "TERA FIXELL."
The CES Innovation Awards are given by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) to products recognized for achievements such as showcasing innovative design. TERA FIXELL was highly evaluated for its technological capability to transform the architecture industry structure. The research team of Professor No Young-tae of the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Hanyang University jointly participated in this technology development.
TERA FIXELL is a next-generation building envelope that combines the intrinsic material quality of terracotta with light-emitting diodes (LED) and artificial intelligence (AI) technology. With an indirect lighting method, it blends naturally with the surrounding environment, and when not operating, it looks the same as a regular wall. The AI algorithm designed by Professor No's research team analyzes external environmental data in real time to enhance energy efficiency and functionality.
A EUTO official said, "This is the result of the combination of traditional architectural aesthetics and cutting-edge technology being recognized at a global level," and noted, "Collaboration with the Hanyang University research team is an opportunity to further strengthen our technological competitiveness."
EUTO plans to accelerate its entry into the global market with this award as a springboard. TERA FIXELL will be unveiled for the first time to buyers and investors from around the world at a special exhibition hall at CES 2026. EUTO will continue to strengthen future-oriented architectural solutions that combine tradition, technology, and sustainability.
