Minister Han Seong-sook of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups met with the Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation and emphasized that the government would provide policy and financial support to revitalize youth startups.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) said on the 14th that Minister Han held a meeting near Gwanghwamun in Seoul with the Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation to discuss ways to boost youth entrepreneurship and spread sustainable entrepreneurship.
Ahead of Global Entrepreneurship Week, Minister Han reviewed the foundation's key projects, including entrepreneurship education and research programs. In particular, she looked into ▲ building a foundation to spread a nationwide culture of entrepreneurship ▲ discovering and fostering challenging young startup founders ▲ creating a virtuous cycle in the startup ecosystem through public-private cooperation.
Minister Han said, "Entrepreneurship is the basis of innovation and growth, and building a startup ecosystem where young people can fully take on challenges is the government's duty," and added, "We will work closely with the private sector to spread entrepreneurship."
