BMW Korea (representative Han Sang-yun) is launching the BMW New X3 30 xDrive M Sport Package Pro, featuring more powerful performance and advanced features.
BMW X3 is a sports activity vehicle (SAV) that debuted in 2003 and pioneered a new segment as a premium mid-size SUV. With striking design and dynamic driving performance, it has surpassed 3.5 million units sold worldwide, and in Korea it has been a best-selling model with more than 50,000 units sold since its launch in 2004. In November last year, the fourth-generation model with improved performance and design was released, and through October this year it has led the premium mid-size SUV market with total sales of 5,515 units.
The new X3 30 xDrive, newly added to the X3 lineup, is offered as a single trim, the M Sport Package Pro, and delivers a highly refined driving experience by combining brisk acceleration performance and improved fuel efficiency from an enhanced powertrain with advanced and premium features that consider passengers as well.
The exterior of the BMW New X3 30 xDrive M Sport Package Pro applies a modern design language to the proportions characteristic of BMW SAV models. Compared with the previous generation, the wheelbase and width have increased and the height has decreased, resulting in more dynamic proportions, and the long roofline creates a sporty silhouette.
At the front, the BMW kidney grille, whose interior harmonizes vertical and diagonal lines, and the grille contour lighting called BMW Iconic Glow give a strong presence, and 20-inch M double-spoke wheels and red brake calipers are installed to create a sporty atmosphere.
Inside, the BMW curved display integrating a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch control display is paired with the BMW Interaction Bar, which features rich lighting effects for excellent visibility and operability while revealing a futuristic feel.
A sporty feel is added with an M leather steering wheel with a D-cut design and M seat belts, and sporty seats made with Veganza, a vegan material, and a luxury dashboard made of recycled materials realize sustainability and luxury together.
The New X3 30 xDrive M Sport Package Pro is equipped with a BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces a maximum output of 258 horsepower and a maximum torque of 40.8 kg·m. In addition, a 48-volt mild hybrid system that provides up to 11 additional horsepower is applied to deliver strong acceleration performance and high fuel efficiency. It accelerates from a standstill to 62 mph in 6.3 seconds, and the governed top speed is limited to 149 mph.
An adaptive suspension that adjusts damping in real time according to driving mode and conditions to deliver optimal traction and ride comfort is applied, and the BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system and M sport brakes are installed to provide a high level of stability and braking performance on any road surface and driving environment.
The New X3 30 xDrive M Sport Package Pro features BMW Operating System 9, the latest Android-based operating system. With an intuitive interface and natural voice command system, the vehicle can be operated as conveniently as a smartphone, and BMW Digital Premium offers various content such as YouTube videos and games for an enhanced digital experience.
Korean BMW navigation based on TMAP is also standard. By reflecting the latest maps and traffic information in real time through online streaming, it guides optimal routes, and it is perfectly integrated with the head-up display to provide the driver with the best driving convenience.
The New X3 30 xDrive M Sport Package Pro comes standard with Driving Assistant Professional, which includes active cruise control with stop & go, lane change assist, frontal collision and forward vehicle·pedestrian·bicycle approach warnings, lane keeping assist, and rear collision warning, and Parking Assistant Plus, which includes parking assistance functions, a surround view, and reverse assist features.
Also included are BMW Live Cockpit Professional, which features BMW's intelligent personal assistant function, Digital Key Plus that allows a smartphone to be used as a vehicle key, front seat ventilation, and heated front and rear seats as standard, along with a large panoramic glass roof for a cool sense of openness, rear-seat roller sunblinds, a travel & comfort system, and a range of other convenience features.
The domestic selling price of the BMW New X3 30 xDrive M Sport Package Pro is 83.9 million won (including VAT).
