BMW Korea said on the 12th that it has launched the premium midsize sport-utility vehicle (SUV) "BMW New X3 30 xDrive M Sport Package Pro."
First launched in 2003, the BMW X3 is classified as a sport activity vehicle (SAV) within the premium midsize SUV segment. Newly added to the X3 lineup, the New X3 30 xDrive comes in a single M Sport Package Pro trim.
BMW Korea said, "In addition to the brisk acceleration performance and improved fuel efficiency delivered by the enhanced powertrain, we applied advanced and premium features that take passengers into consideration to offer a highly refined driving experience."
Compared with the previous generation, this model is longer and wider with a lower height. This strengthens its dynamic image. Up front, it features the BMW kidney grille with vertical and diagonal lines harmonized inside and the grille contour lighting "BMW Iconic Glow." The 20-inch M double-spoke wheels and red brake calipers enhance the sporty vibe.
Inside, the BMW Curved Display integrates a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch control display. An M leather steering wheel and M seat belts add an active sensibility. The Tmap-based Korea-specific BMW navigation system is linked with the head-up display.
The New X3 30 xDrive M Sport Package Pro is equipped with a BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder gasoline engine that delivers a maximum output of 258 horsepower. In addition, a 48V mild-hybrid system producing up to 11 horsepower improves acceleration and fuel efficiency. Zero to 100 kph from a standstill is 6.3 seconds, and the governed top speed is 240 kph.
It also offers a variety of driving assistance features. The "Driving Assistant Professional" includes active cruise control with stop-and-go, lane change assist, forward collision and forward vehicle/pedestrian/cyclist approach warnings, lane keeping assist, and rear collision warning. The "Parking Assistant Plus," which adds parking assistance, surround view, and reversing assistance, is also applied.
The domestic selling price of the BMW New X3 30 xDrive M Sport Package Pro is 83.9 million won including VAT.
