Tata Daewoo Mobility Co. (President Kim Tae-seong) said on the 10th that it converted the Chungcheong West branch in Dangjin, Chungnam, into a 3S (Sales, Service, Spare Parts) branch to enhance convenience for customers in the Chungcheong area and has begun operating a full-fledged integrated service system.
As the Chungcheong West branch acquired Dangjin Motors, which had been a designated maintenance shop of Tata Daewoo Mobility Co., it was newly reorganized into a 3S branch that integrates sales, maintenance and parts functions.
The Chungcheong West branch adds maintenance and parts services to its existing sales function to provide a one-stop service that covers sales, vehicle inspection and maintenance, and parts replacement all at once. This is a measure to support prompt resolution of maintenance or parts supply issues that commercial vehicle customers may experience during operation, and is part of Tata Daewoo Mobility Co.'s strategy to strengthen community-based services.
Since its opening in July 2017, the Chungcheong West branch has continued a rapid growth trend. After achieving the nation's top sales in 2021, three years after opening, it recorded the highest nationwide sales for Tata Daewoo Mobility Co. for five consecutive years through 2025, and won the grand prize for best dealer at the annual dealer conference each year. In particular, it is evaluated as a branch where all sales staff achieved consistently high performance, recognizing the capabilities and teamwork of the entire organization.
Tata Daewoo Mobility Co. plans to further improve service accessibility and customer satisfaction in the Chungcheong area by using the Chungcheong West branch's conversion to 3S as an opportunity. After the acquisition, the Chungcheong West branch will add dedicated managers to improve the capabilities of mechanics and enhance service quality along with improvements to the service environment. In addition, to strengthen customer satisfaction services, it plans to operate careful customer care programs such as accommodation support if maintenance delays occur and vehicle relocation support for customers who need to attend to personal business after vehicle check-in. Because commercial vehicle customers must maintain long driving distances and high utilization rates due to the nature of vehicle operation, a 3S branch that can provide maintenance and parts services along with high-quality care programs helps with operational efficiency and time savings.
