Two brands representing Italian cars, Maserati is joining hands with Alfa Romeo. Maserati and Alfa Romeo launched the brand collaboration project "Bottega Fuoriserie".
Maserati (Maserati) is an Italian luxury car brand and Alfa Romeo (Alfa Romeo) is an Italian premium car manufacturer.
The newly announced project "Bottega Fuoriserie (BOTTEGAFUORISERIE)" was born to combine the rich heritage and future-oriented vision of Maserati and Alfa Romeo. A business unit was also established to materialize the project.
Through this project the two brands will combine craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology to produce limited-edition models, restore vintage cars, develop bespoke vehicles, and realize innovations in racing technology. The goal is to showcase aesthetically and technically advanced vehicles to customers worldwide by leveraging synergies.
Bottega Fuoriserie was established with the support of the Italian luxury goods association, the Altagamma Foundation. Based on the distinct DNA of Maserati and Alfa Romeo, Bottega Fuoriserie will operate around four main pillars: "Bottega (BOTTEGA)", "Fuoriserie (FUORISERIE)", "La Storia (La Storia)", and "Corse (Corse)".
Bottega, where Maserati and Alfa Romeo custom models are born, brings together the industry's top designers, technicians and engineers to showcase the essence of Italian engineering. From the Maserati MCXtrema, known as the "racing beast," to the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale (Stradale), it is dedicated to producing sensational limited-edition vehicles that push boundaries.
The bespoke program Fuoriserie has been further advanced. A dedicated design team explores new creative expressions such as concept development, advanced design research and personalization of mass-production cars while remaining faithful to the brands' aesthetic codes. At the same time, quality control processes have evolved to a higher level. Through this, customers can experience customized design options that allow them to express their own identity at any exhibition worldwide.
La Storia restores and commemorates the historical heritage of Maserati and Alfa Romeo. It is especially responsible for the new initiative's "Experience Center (Experience Center)". At the Alfa Romeo museum located in Arese, Milan, Italy, one can explore the roots of the brand identity, and Modena's recently reopened "Umberto Panini Maserati Collection (Umberto Panini Maserati Collection)" brings together more than 100 years of brand history in one place. In particular, through Officine Classiche activities it will handle classic car restoration, certification and the rebirth of historical models so that Maserati's and Alfa Romeo's heritage can continue to inspire across generations.
Corse turns the technology and know-how accumulated in racing into innovation. Motorsports are the core and source of innovation for Bottega Fuoriserie, linking performance experience gained on the track to engineering innovations to improve vehicle performance. Bottega Fuoriserie combines cutting-edge technology and the essence of Italian engineering to set new standards in the super sports car field, and through collaboration with Italy's manufacturing network and artisans it completes innovative powertrain solutions ranging from aerodynamics to chassis design.
Jean-Philippe Imparato (Jean-Philippe Imparato), Maserati CEO, said, "Bottega Fuoriserie is the point where vision and reality meet and a stage where imagination is actually realized, where creativity and craftsmanship are harmonized, and every project is born out of deep research and passion," and added, "Bottega Fuoriserie, where Italy's design, technology and culture come together, is a new way of symbolizing the future we believe in."
Santo Ficili (Santo Ficili), Alfa Romeo CEO and Maserati COO, said, "Bottega Fuoriserie symbolizes the beginning of a new era for both Maserati and Alfa Romeo and shows our firm belief in the power of Italian creativity, engineering and craftsmanship," and added, "This project will be the first milestone of a larger transformation that will define the future of Maserati and Alfa Romeo."
