Doosan Enerbility disclosed on the 5th that it posted revenue of 3.8804 trillion won and operating profit of 137.1 billion won in the third quarter this year. Compared with the same period a year earlier, revenue rose 14.3% and operating profit increased 19.4%.
Orders for the Enerbility institutional sector (including overseas subsidiaries) totaled 1.6 trillion won in the third quarter, bringing the cumulative figure to 5.3903 trillion won. Major orders included the construction of three Dangjin phase 2 liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks (445.8 billion won; the company's share 80%), as well as work in standalone equipment and services at home and abroad. The order backlog was 16.4174 trillion won, up 1.6 trillion won from a year earlier.
Doosan Enerbility said it raised its order guidance from the previous 10.7 trillion won to 13 trillion–14 trillion won for this year. In the fourth quarter, it is targeting contracts to manufacture and supply two primary systems for Czech nuclear power plants, as well as gas turbines and orders outside the plan.
