Hanwha Group's key affiliates, including Hanwha Aerospace, Hanwha Solutions, Hanwha Systems, and Hanwha Ocean, carried out their regular executive appointments for 2026 on the 5th. This year, a total of 76 people at Hanwha Group were promoted to new executive (managing director).
In this round of regular appointments, Hanwha Aerospace promoted six people to new executive roles to expand its global business and secure competitiveness.
A Hanwha Aerospace official said, "Through these appointments, we will accelerate securing market-leading products and expanding our entry into global markets to preemptively secure a competitive edge in key regions."
Hanwha Solutions appointed a total of 11 new executives, including two born in the 1980s, in its regular reshuffle that also included Hanwha Advanced Materials. Hanwha Solutions said it strengthened field-centered appointments in technology and business and boldly selected young executives with growth potential based on performance.
Hanwha Systems also had four people named on the list of newly promoted executives. The company said it will further solidify its organizational capabilities to strengthen export competitiveness and expand global business through these appointments.
At Hanwha Ocean, seven people in research, design, and production (manufacturing) and five in business management and support were newly appointed as executives. A Hanwha Ocean representative said, "We focused on strengthening technical competitiveness based on eco-friendly technologies, advancing the global production system, and bolstering business support capabilities to secure future growth drivers."
