Asiana Airlines said on the 4th that it will begin operating out of Incheon Airport Terminal 2 starting Jan. 14 next year.
Asiana Airlines' terminal transfer is a step toward the launch of the integrated airline and is expected to improve airport operating efficiency and passenger convenience. As a result, starting at 12:00 a.m. on Jan. 14 next year, all Asiana Airlines flights will depart from and arrive at Terminal 2.
Check-in will take place at counters G–J, with row J designated for business class and elite member-only counters.
Asiana Airlines plans to strengthen customer notifications related to the terminal transfer to minimize passenger confusion. It will continue promotions through online channels such as its website and social media, and focus on customer guidance by installing information banners at key locations within Incheon Airport.
In particular, terminal information will be updated on the electronic ticket itinerary (E-TICKET) for customers boarding from Jan. 14 next year, and additional individual notifications will be sent via Alimtalk.
An Asiana Airlines official said, "We will continue publicity and customer guidance on the transfer to Terminal 2 through Jan. 14 next year," adding, "We will prepare to provide a more pleasant and comfortable travel environment at Terminal 2."
