KG Mobility executive director (CEO) Hwang Ki-young was promoted to vice president. Vice President Hwang Ki-young was appointed CEO at an extraordinary shareholders' meeting and board meeting held in May 2024 and has been leading management.
KG Group on the 3rd announced the 2026 regular executive personnel changes that include this matter. The effective date of the personnel appointments is Jan. 1, 2026.
KG Group presented the background for the 2026 regular executive personnel changes as "to proactively respond to an uncertain and rapidly changing management environment and to enhance corporate value through strengthening each affiliate's competitiveness."
KG Group said it plans through these personnel changes to strengthen the expertise of core businesses and accountable management, and to accelerate securing future growth drivers. Based on the vision of "a respected corporation, a proud company," the group will reinforce overall group synergies and proactively respond to future industrial changes such as green and digital transitions to achieve sustainable growth and social responsibility.
The 2026 regular executive promotions total 40 people: 1 president, 3 vice presidents, 2 executive directors, 12 managing directors, 20 deputy managing directors, and 2 assistant directors.
