On the 3rd, Kyowon Group Chairman Jang Pyeong-sun marked the 40th anniversary of the company's founding and emphasized, "Let's develop diverse and innovative products and services to achieve breakthrough growth even in difficult times."
Kyowon Group started as a publisher in 1985 and has grown into a leading domestic total care platform corporations that leads the industry in various fields, including education, rentals, mutual aid, travel, healthcare, and pets. It provides life-care services across the entire lifespan, "from the cradle to the grave," and is establishing itself as a corporations that takes responsibility for all aspects of customers' lives.
That day, Kyowon Group held a ceremony marking its 40th anniversary at the Kyowon Challenge Hall in Jongno District, Seoul. About 200 executives and employees attended, including Chairman Jang Pyeong-sun.
In a commemorative address, Jang said, "We began as a very small publisher and have now expanded into diverse businesses that can care for life across an entire lifetime, from the cradle to the grave, while being a leading education corporations in Korea," and added, "This unprecedented growth and these fruits have been made possible by the passion and dedication of the Kyowon family."
Jang also emphasized, "The synergy strategy is a differentiated competitive edge that only Kyowon Group can achieve," and said, "Let's move forward in developing even more innovative services based on synergy among businesses."
At the event, awards were also presented to outstanding employees and long-serving staff who contributed to the development of Kyowon Group.
A Kyowon Group official said, "We expect greater value to be created when different businesses are naturally consolidation," and added, "We will continue to strive to provide beneficial experiences and services for customers."
