Hyundai Motor is accepting online applications for the 10th Hyundai Kids Motorshow contest, themed "children's imagined future cities," from the 3rd through Jan. 11, 2026.
The 10th Hyundai Kids Motorshow began in 2016 with the concept of a children's imagination motor show and, marking its 10th year this year, is Hyundai Motor's signature campaign for the growth generation, with the number of contest entries and exhibition visitors increasing each year and receiving strong anticipation.
Hyundai Motor selected "What kind of city would you like to live in in the future? Freely draw your imagined future city" as the theme of this contest. The company plans to give many participating children the opportunity to naturally understand various technologies such as future city (Future City), future mobility (Future Mobility) and future robotics (Future Robotics), and to imagine lives with applied future technologies.
In this contest, 300 works will be selected as finalists after collective judging by experts in various fields such as art, engineering and urban planning from the submitted works, and following additional evaluation, six grand prize winners will be announced in total, with three each receiving the Deputy Prime Minister and minister of education award and the Hyundai Motor CEO award.
In particular, the works selected as grand prize winners will be exhibited at Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang in May 2026 to commemorate Family Month, aiming to sustain public interest and curiosity in the imaginations of the growth generation.
Jiseongwon, head of brand marketing at Hyundai Motor, said, "The Hyundai Kids Motorshow is Hyundai Motor's representative youth campaign that has continued for the past 10 years, and it is a great opportunity for children to freely imagine and lay out on paper the future city we will live in, including mobility, robotics and eco-friendly energy," adding, "We want to introduce the growth generation's imagination and creative ideas that adults may not have thought of and actively support them."
