Hyundai Motor, Kia, and other finished carmakers are offering large cash discounts focused on popular models in Nov., which overlaps with the nation's biggest shopping festival, the "Korea Grand Festival."
Hyundai Motor is offering discounts on 12 models, including passenger and recreational vehicles (RV), covering more than 12,000 units. The discounted models include the Sonata, Tucson, Grandeur, Santa Fe, and Ioniq 9. Genesis, the luxury brand, is also including the G80, GV70, and GV80. The discount amount ranges from 1 million won to 5 million won depending on the model.
For customers who checked a vehicle quote through a car master, the company will also hold a giveaway event offering various prizes, including an LG Electronics 77-inch OLED AI TV and a Styler, through a drawing. Vehicle contracts linked to the Korea Sale Festa will proceed on a first-come, first-served basis for limited quantities by model.
Kia designated through the 10th as a focused discount period. It is offering a 3% discount on 10 models, including the Seltos, Sportage, Sorento, Carnival, K5, K8, Tasman, Niro Hybrid (HEV), Bongo LPG, and K9. For the three EV models EV3, EV4, and EV9, the discount rises to 5%. The discount benefits apply to the first 5,000 units on a first-come, first-served basis.
For the month of Nov., Kia is offering a 500,000 won purchase subsidy on six models: the K5, K8, Tasman, Niro HEV, Bongo LPG, and K9. For the K5, K8, Niro HEV, and Bongo LPG, customers who take delivery in Nov. will also receive 36-month interest-free installment financing.
Customers who purchase a new Renault Korea vehicle can receive up to 3.5 million won in benefits for the best-selling midsize SUV "Grand Koleos," depending on the terms. For the coupe-style SUV "Arkana," buyers of the 1.6 GTe model receive a free power tailgate and an additional 100,000 won in options and accessories benefits.
For the electric vehicle "Scenic E-Tech 100% Electric," customers can receive up to 3 million won in special EV support. The midsize SUV "QM6" offers special benefits of 1 million won to 3 million won by production month, plus up to 4.9 million won depending on conditions.
Chevrolet is offering customized financing and cash support benefits on all models, including the Trax Crossover and Trailblazer, throughout Nov. For the Trax Crossover (2026 model year), ultra-low-rate long-term installment plans of up to 60 months (3.5%–4.0%) are available, and for the 2025 model year, an additional 500,000 won in cash support is added when using 3.9% combo financing.
For the Trailblazer (2026 model year), customers can choose ultra-low-rate financing of 4.5% for 36 months or 4.9% for 60 months. For the Colorado, a super long-term installment plan of up to 72 months (4.5%–5.3%) is available, along with a 5 million won benefit through combo discounts.
Cadillac's first pure electric SUV, the Lyriq, comes with a special cash discount of up to 17 million won, the highest level among promotions since its launch. In addition, customers can choose from ▲ 60-month interest-free installments (0% down payment), ▲ 60-month interest-free lease (15% security deposit), or ▲ 17 million won support for down payment or security deposit when using partner financing.
