OCI Holdings on the 31st said it will carry out an organizational reshuffle and regular executive appointments effective Nov. 1 to prepare for global business growth centered on Southeast Asia and the United States. The executive appointments cover a total of 19 people, including nine promotions and 10 transfers.
The personnel moves aim to advance the group's future growth engines, including the launch of a new project in Vietnam released recently, strategic responses to U.S. solar policies, and strengthening competitiveness in advanced materials businesses such as semiconductors and secondary batteries at home and abroad. To that end, the group will implement an organizational overhaul along with redeploying specialists, and, under performance-based personnel principles, appoint vetted talent from within to key posts to secure organizational expertise and a foundation for sustainable growth.
In particular, centering on OCI Co., Ltd., the company will shift to a business division system with the Precision Materials Business Division and the Basic Materials Business Division. The goal is to focus on strengthening materials business competitiveness by centering on division heads rather than the existing executive-led structure. It also decided to introduce a field-centered, hands-on executive system to maximize work efficiency and respond to the rapidly changing global market environment.
