HD Hyundai Infracore disclosed on the 30th that in the third quarter of this year it posted 1.1302 trillion won in revenue and 80.9 billion won in operating profit. Compared with a year earlier, revenue rose 24.2% and operating profit increased 290.9%. Net profit came to 67.1 billion won, swinging to the black.
By region, revenue in the North American and European markets grew 38% from a year earlier, and revenue in China also increased 82% in the same period. Revenue in Latin America and Africa rose evenly as well, HD Hyundai Infracore said. By business segment, the construction equipment segment recorded 854.3 billion won in revenue, up 30% from a year earlier. The engine segment's revenue and operating profit came to 275.9 billion won and 46.5 billion won, respectively. Those figures rose 8% and 42% year over year.
A HD Hyundai Infracore official said, "We will raise both mid- to long-term revenue and profits through a portfolio centered on high-margin products and efficient expense management."
