Hanjin said on the 29th that it will operate same-day baggage delivery for participants arriving at Incheon International Airport for the 2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.
If APEC participants check their baggage by 1 p.m. at Hanjin's Incheon Airport parcel service offices in passenger terminals 1 and 2 at Incheon Airport, delivery will be completed the same day by 10 p.m. to 45 designated accommodations in Gyeongju.
The service was introduced through an APEC information website sent to participants by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs APEC Summit Preparatory Planning Group, and on-site reception and customer support systems were also established at the Incheon Airport offices. The service runs from Oct. 23 to 30.
Cargo trucks bearing Hanjin's new CI, unveiled on the 23rd, will be deployed for this same-day delivery service. The soft ascending curve that composes the symbol of the new Hanjin CI represents flexibility and dynamism, while the open circle symbolizes an open attitude toward the global market and cooperation.
A Hanjin official said, "By delivering the baggage of attendees at this meaningful international event where leaders and delegations from around the world gather safely and swiftly, we will help ensure the successful completion of this national event."
