Huh Tae-soo, chairman of GS Group, will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Summit in Gyeongju from the 29th to the 31st.
At this event, Chairman Huh is scheduled to discuss cooperation plans with business leaders from various countries on key issues in the global industry, including artificial intelligence (AI) and the energy transition.
According to the business community on the 28th, Chairman Huh will attend the opening ceremony, listen to speeches by heads of global big tech corporations, including Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, and Matt Garman, CEO of AWS (Amazon Web Services), and take part in major networking programs. He will also hold individual and small-group meetings with international business figures visiting Korea to attend the APEC CEO Summit.
Meanwhile, GS Group will screen a video on large screens in and around the venue under the theme of "the group's AI innovation and future growth." GS Caltex will operate a promotional booth under the theme of "future energy transition," and GS Retail will participate in the side event, the Future Tech Forum.
