T'way Air said on the 27th that it launched new regular nonstop routes from Busan to Fukuoka and Sapporo starting on the 26th.
At the inauguration ceremony held at Busan Gimhae International Airport, Busan branch manager Kim Han-gil of T'way Air, Gimhae Airport director Nam Chang-hee of Korea Airports Corporation (KAC), and T'way Air executives, employees, and related officials attended.
T'way Air's Busan-Fukuoka route operates twice daily. The morning flight departs Busan Gimhae International Airport at 9 a.m. and arrives at Fukuoka Airport at 10 a.m. local time. Flight time is about one hour.
The evening flight departs Busan Gimhae International Airport at 6 p.m. and arrives at Fukuoka Airport at 7 p.m. local time.
The Busan-Sapporo route operates once daily; the outbound flight departs Busan Gimhae International Airport at 9 a.m. and arrives at New Chitose Airport in Sapporo at 11:20 a.m. local time. The return flight departs around 12:20 p.m. local time and arrives at Busan Gimhae International Airport around 3:15 p.m. Flight time is about 2 hours 20 minutes.
