As Hanwha Aerospace supports remodeling convenience spaces for service members at military hospitals nationwide, the fifth project has been completed.
Hanwha Aerospace said on the 24th that it held an opening ceremony for the "H-Lounge" at the Armed Forces Guri Hospital in Guri, Gyeonggi, on the 23rd. H-Lounge is named after the first letters of "Hanwha" and "Hospital."
As part of its social contribution activities, Hanwha Aerospace is sequentially improving rest and waiting areas at 12 military hospitals nationwide.
The Healing Recovery Center at the Armed Forces Guri Hospital is a specialized mental health medical institution that supports service members, military civilian employees, and public officials experiencing depression, anxiety, panic, maladjustment, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Given that the Armed Forces Guri Hospital is specialized in psychiatry, this improvement project focused on creating a comfortable environment to help restore psychological stability. Soft-toned furniture and wall finishes were applied through the corridors and reception area. A large LED and TV were also installed in the first-floor lobby of the main building.
Vice President Moon Ji-hoon of Hanwha Aerospace said, "We hope the H-Lounge can help service members find stability in body and mind," adding, "As a defense company of Korea, we will contribute to improving military welfare with a sense of duty."
Meanwhile, H-Lounge is a social contribution project that remodels lounge facilities at 12 military hospitals nationwide. The H-Lounge was completed at the Armed Forces Capital Hospital in 2020, the Armed Forces Daejeon Hospital in 2022, the Armed Forces Hongcheon Hospital in 2023, and the Armed Forces Yangju Hospital in 2024.
