QuantumAero said on the 24th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the development of advanced operations technology based on defense AI with Coxwave, a leading domestic AI technology corporations, at the 2025 Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition (ADEX) held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on the 22nd.
QuantumAero is the exclusive Korean technology partner of Shield AI, a U.S. defense unicorn corporations, and is preemptively securing and localizing overseas state-of-the-art AI technology and unmanned power technology to develop and provide a Korea-style integrated solution.
Coxwave is the domestic partner of global AI corporations Anthropic, and is a corporations with the capability to combine optimal, problem-solving-focused technologies, as well as experience in selling Generative AI services and development capabilities.
Through this collaboration, the two sides plan to identify and implement various innovation projects in the defense field using AI, including talent management, administrative support, and improved equipment operation efficiency.
Jeon Dong-geun, chair of the QuantumAero board, said, "The active adoption of AI and advanced technology is the core competitiveness of future defense," adding, "Through cooperation with Coxwave, we will further strengthen our pioneering capabilities in the field of defense AI technology in various ways going forward, and establish a foundation for self-reliance in defense AI technology and global cooperation."
Kim Ju-won, CEO of Coxwave, said, "Based on our experience in directly developing, operating, and successfully selling AI services, we will create synergy with QuantumAero's defense AI technology capabilities," adding, "By generating unlimited creative scenarios that go beyond human bias, we will enhance the completeness of defense strategy and demonstrate orchestration (optimal technology combination) capabilities focused on problem solving."
