Kolon Group on the 24th carried out personnel appointments for presidents and executives for 2026.
Kolon said that on the day, it conducted regular appointments for 31 presidents and executives, including naming Kim Young-beom (photo), president and CEO of Kolon ENP, as CEO of Kolon GLOBAL. The new CEO Kim will lead growth into a real estate, environment, and energy total provider through diversification of the business portfolio.
Kim Min-tae, an executive vice president of Kolon ENP who served as chief financial officer, was named CEO of the FnC division at Kolon Industries. Jeon Seung-ho, CEO in charge of Kolon TissueGene, was concurrently named CEO of Kolon Pharmaceutical.
Ahn Sang-hyun, CEO of Kolon Spaceworks, an advanced composite materials specialist launched last year, was promoted from senior managing director to executive vice president. Choi Hyun-seok, senior managing director and CEO of Kolon Mobility Group, was also promoted to executive vice president. Of the 14 new executives, eight are in their 40s.
Kolon Group said, "It is time to complete the groupwide business restructuring underway since last year while injecting momentum into strategic businesses," adding, "This is a personnel move that seeks stability while expanding the share of executives in their 40s to strengthen future growth engines."
