Germany-based premium auto parts maker MEYLE said on the 21st that MEYLE PD brake pads and discs demonstrated top-level braking performance and quietness in international standard tests and verifications by an independent German institution.
The test was conducted in Germany on popular representative models such as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW X5 according to the international standard test specifications SAE J2522 (coefficient of friction, high- and low-temperature braking performance, wear test) and SAE J2521 (noise test).
According to a MEYLE official, "MEYLE PD brake pads registered top-level figures in almost every category, proving excellent braking performance and quietness at the same time, and the MEYLE ORIGINAL product line also outperformed competing products in some categories, earning a reputation as the quietest and most comfortable brake pads."
