Hyundai Mobis said on the 21st that it will begin full-scale operation of its in-house generative artificial intelligence (AI) platform "MoAI" (Mobis one AI).
MoAI is a conversational generative AI service developed in-house by Hyundai Mobis. It is directly linked to a variety of internal work systems, enabling everything from searching documents, images, and manuals to generating analytical reports.
MoAI is slated to be applied to multiple functions, including research and development (R&D), IT, quality, sales, and production. The company expects it will shorten employees' search time and boost work efficiency and productivity by allowing flexible use of vast internal data. Because the service was built in-house, the company said it is also safe from a security standpoint.
Hyundai Mobis began developing an in-house generative AI model early last year and has verified its effectiveness through a pilot service. The company plans to continue raising the service level by reflecting employee feedback during use and to gradually expand the areas of application.
