SNT Energy said on the 21st that it received the Supplier Excellence Award at the 2025 Supply Chain Excellence Award event hosted by Bechtel Corporation, a global integrated engineering and construction corporation in the United States.
The event was held in Virginia, United States, where Bechtel is headquartered, at 11 a.m. on Oct. 20 (local time) with more than 60 corporations from eight countries in attendance.
Chief Executive Kim Hyeong-seop of SNT Energy attended and received the award trophy directly from Craig Albert, president and COO of Bechtel.
Bechtel said, "SNT Energy has greatly contributed to Bechtel's supply chain efficiency through its outstanding on-time delivery capability, productivity, and excellent quality," and noted, "This partnership was a key factor in this award."
SNT Energy won orders from Bechtel in 2023 for air coolers for Train 1, Train 2, and Train 3 of the Rio Grande liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in the United States.
In 2024, it supplied air coolers for an LNG project in Louisiana, United States, and recently won orders for air coolers for Train 4 and Train 5 of the Rio Grande LNG project.
An SNT Energy official said, "This order reflects global recognition of our technological capabilities and the competitiveness of our global partnerships," and added, "We will continue to work closely with global clients, including Bechtel, to collaborate not only in the U.S. LNG project market but also in the nuclear and combined-cycle power generation markets."
