Genesis released the refreshed model of the midsize sport utility vehicle (SUV) GV70, the 2026 GV70, on Oct. 20. It features enhanced baseline NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) performance and a reconfigured package lineup to broaden customer choices.
Genesis boosted NVH performance on the 2026 GV70 by adding sound-absorbing material to the under cover and, on the 2.5 turbo model, installing an engine support damper that reduces transmission of engine vibration.
Reflecting customer preferences, the package composition was changed. The electronic limited-slip differential (e-LSD), previously included in the Sports Package for the GV70 gasoline 2.5 turbo with 19-inch wheels, was made an optional feature to expand customer choices.
The molding materials and colors of the Sports Package were aligned with the Genesis Black lineup, and the application range of genuine leather on the Standard Design seats was expanded. The Obsidian Black/Vanilla Beige two-tone combination of Sports Design Selection II gained a new interior color option with gray stitching, enhancing the premium design feel.
Genesis reorganized the packages as follows: Popular Package I into Head-up Display and Driving Assistance Package I; and Popular Package II into Popular Package I, Driving Assistance Package II, Second-row Comfort Package, and Built-in Cam Package.
In addition, the existing Convenience Package deleted the ultraviolet sterilization function for the front console armrest storage, and the existing Second-row Comfort Package added a luggage mat, luggage screen, luggage net, and a 220V power outlet for the rear seats.
Prices for the 2026 GV70 are 53.18 million won for the gasoline 2.5 turbo and 58.60 million won for the gasoline 3.5 turbo. (2WD, based on a 3.5% special consumption tax)
