SK InteleX said on Oct. 20 that its wellness robotics brand "NAMUHX" will hold a special promotion for reservation customers along with pre-order sales ahead of its launch on Oct. 30.
NAMUHX is a robotics brand based on AI technology launched under a "human-centered" brand philosophy that technology should be directed toward people. NAMUHX, which enables autonomous driving and 100% voice control, provides "air solution" as a core feature. Based on AI autonomous driving and air quality sensors, NAMUHX can locate sources of pollution on its own and clean contaminated spaces without blind spots. As a result, its purification speed is 10 times faster and the spread of air pollution can be reduced by 80% compared with one conventional fixed air purifier for a 20-pyeong space. In addition, NAMUHX and its air quality sensor can thoroughly detect six major indoor pollutants such as nitrogen oxides, formaldehyde, and volatile organic compounds, as well as carbon dioxide and temperature/humidity, and its all-in-one filter and UV can remove more than 99% of 28 types of pollutants including ultrafine dust, harmful gases, bacteria, mold, viruses, and allergens. All of these air solution features are controlled with "100% voice control" without touching the product, and the "AI control system" remotely supports device status monitoring and after-sales service.
Along with this, users can additionally use wellness features such as the "vital sign check," which measures five health indicators—body temperature, heart activity intensity, pulse, oxygen saturation, and stress index—within 10 seconds using non-contact remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) technology, and "wellness mode" (wake-up, welcome, relax), which operates to fit various everyday situations.
NAMUHX enhanced its technological completeness based on an "open ecosystem" in collaboration with specialized corporations across fields, supported by PhnyX Lab, composed of engineers from Stanford University, and working with Qualcomm, MAUM.AI, Everybot, Quber, and EY. In particular, it adopted Qualcomm Technologies' IoT solution, the Qualcomm DragonWing QCS6490, to achieve fast responsiveness with "on-device AI."
Based on EY's security framework as a global professional consulting firm, NAMUHX established a world-class security system from the planning and design stages and obtained IoT security certification from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), a nationally accredited security verification agency.
