Hyundai Rotem said on Oct. 20 that it will present the vision of a comprehensive defense corporations spanning ground and space at the Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition 2025 (ADEX 2025) through Oct. 24. More than 600 companies from 35 countries are participating in this exhibition.
Hyundai Rotem, together with Kia and HYUNDAI WIA, is creating an integrated Hyundai Motor Group pavilion and will showcase a wide range of Defense Solution institutional sector products, from ground weapons systems and aerospace to AI and hydrogen mobility.
First, it will unveil for the first time key aerospace business products mounted on flight vehicles such as space launch vehicles and guided missiles, including a methane engine, a ducted ramjet engine, and a hypersonic dual-ramjet engine. The methane engine is applied to reusable launch vehicles, and the ducted ramjet engine and hypersonic dual-ramjet engine are mounted on cruise vehicles at supersonic speeds or higher.
Hyundai Rotem will also unveil for the first time the Black Veil, a hydrogen fuel cell-based unmanned mobility electrification platform, as a representative exhibit of AI and hydrogen mobility. With low-noise maneuvering, it can carry out stealth missions, and its four-wheel-drive structure secures a fully open cargo space. Real vehicles of a hydrogen wheeled armored vehicle and the Polish variant of the K2 tank (K2PL MBT) will also be shown for the first time.
A Hyundai Rotem official said, "We will take the lead in the government's national agenda of 'K-Space challenge with our technology' by securing aerospace technological capabilities to respond to the New Space era."
