Home&Shopping said on the 15th that through this year's "Ilsacheonri" program it newly launched products from 132 regional small and medium-sized enterprises. Of these, 26 products, including "Jalsaenggin Myeongran," "Yeongdong Dried Persimmons," "Haebitdam Red Pepper Powder," "Nonggaeneong Agricultural Processed Foods," and "Sinhwadang Confectionery Jeonbyeong," posted strong results and were shifted to regular broadcasts.
"Ilsacheonri" is a program that Home&Shopping has run since 2012 in coordination with metropolitan and provincial governments nationwide and each regional headquarters of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises to discover excellent products and specialties from regional small and medium-sized enterprises and support their sales through TV home shopping broadcasts. Products participating in the program are selected after a preliminary MD consultation session and an evaluation by the regional committee.
Shifting to regular broadcasts means moving out of the test-broadcast format of the "Ilsacheonri" special lineup and being sold at all times in regular home shopping time slots. "Jalsaenggin Myeongran" recorded 1.4 billion won in orders from a single broadcast, and "Yeongdong Dried Persimmons" recorded 1.2 billion won.
A Home&Shopping official said, "The secret to the success of the Ilsacheonri program is that products were meticulously selected through MD consultations and collaboration by the regional committee, reflecting both fairness and consumer preferences based on a 50-50 scoring ratio."
Chief Executive Moon Jae-su of Home&Shopping said, "The Ilsacheonri program is preparing for a bigger leap forward, and it will promote the sustainable growth of small and medium-sized enterprises and rural and fishing communities through the discovery of new products and high-quality services, while delivering greater value to consumers nationwide."
