Hyundai Mobis said on the 15th that it published a companion growth guidebook summarizing its win-win initiatives with partner companies.
According to the company, over the past three years Hyundai Mobis provided a total of 180 billion won to support domestic partners' new product and new technology development. Patents jointly filed with partners also surpassed 850. Hyundai Mobis currently maintains partnerships with about 4,100 partners at home and abroad.
In addition, this year Hyundai Mobis introduced life cycle assessment (LCA) consulting to strengthen partners' ESG (environment, social and governance) capabilities so they can systematically calculate carbon emissions. This system evaluates environmental impacts by analyzing inputs and outputs across the entire process from materials and supplies for products to production and disposal. It provides a free consulting program to help partners learn related knowledge and trends and acquire company-specific, applicable solutions.
Hyundai Mobis also launched the Mobius Bootcamp this year to train talent in the mobility software (SW) field and connect them to hiring by partner companies. A total of 300 people were selected for the first Mobius Bootcamp cohort to receive specialized training in the mobility SW field.
Hyundai Mobis said, "We plan to continue expanding a win-win ecosystem with partner companies through securing leading technological competitiveness, full-fledged expansion of global clients, and continued increase in research and development investment."
