Hyundai Motor Group will support official protocol vehicles for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit to be held in Korea at the end of this month.
On the 15th, Hyundai Motor Group signed a business agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' APEC Summit Preparation and Planning Group on vehicle support for the "APEC Summit 2025 (APEC 2025 Korea)" and the "Joint Meeting of Foreign and Trade Ministers."
During the event, Hyundai Motor Group will support 113 G90s for protocol for heads of state and their spouses. It also decided to provide a total of 192 vehicles, including 74 G80s for protocol for Minister-level figures, three Universe hydrogen-electric buses, and two Universe mobile offices.
The APEC summit is a venue where leaders of 21 member economies in the Asia-Pacific region, government delegations, and key business figures gather to discuss current issues and the future in areas such as the economy, trade, and diplomacy, and this year it will be held in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, from the 31st of this month to Nov. 1. In particular, this APEC summit is being held in Korea for the first time in 20 years since the 2005 APEC summit in Busan.
