BMW Korea (CEO Han Sang-yoon) sponsored major brand models including the 5 Series for MBC's flagship entertainment program "Hangout with Yoo?".
First, BMW Korea showcased BMW classic cars beloved in the 1980s alongside current popular models on "80s MBC Seoul Music Festival," a segment of "Hangout with Yoo". Through a video transition from the 5 Series (E34), which was a representative premium sedan at the time, to today's popular model "M5", BMW highlighted the 5 Series' heritage and expressed BMW's unique joy that spans generations across time.
In the music video featuring the music festival's popularity award winner, the 3 Series (E30), which was with Korean customers in the 1980s, and BMW M's flagship high-performance sports sedan "M3", which is with 2025, appeared in sequence, showing a generation's connection mediated by music while emphasizing the vehicles' distinctive charm.
Also, on the 7th and 9th, the Chuseok special road trip extra episode of "Hangout with Yoo?", "Brother, what are you doing?", which was released through MBC broadcast and the program's official YouTube channel (Hangout with Yoo official YouTube), featured support from the flagship pure electric SAV "New iX" and the premium large SAV "X7". As the cast left on a trip with the vehicles, the episodes naturally captured the driving pleasure BMW pursues and showcased the outstanding performance and sense of space unique to BMW SUV models.
The music video of the music festival popularity award winner and the "Brother, what are you doing?" episode that collaborated with BMW Korea are available on the program's official YouTube channel.
