Hyundai Motor on the 1st unveiled prices and began sales of the high-performance sedan EV IONIQ 6 N (IONIQ 6 N, Ioniq Six N).
IONIQ 6 N is Hyundai N's second high-performance electrified model, taking vehicle data obtained from the "rolling lab," meaning motorsports and a mobile laboratory, and combining it with Hyundai Motor's advanced electrification technology to push driving performance to the extreme. IONIQ 6 N is a car that will satisfy customers both on the track and in daily driving, with powerful powertrain performance, a body that secures high-speed driving stability and everyday driving convenience at the same time, and N high-performance electrification specifications that deliver thrilling driving sensations.
The sale price of the IONIQ 6 N, offered in a single trim, is 79,900,000 won before reflecting subsidies and after a 3.5% special consumption tax and eco-friendly vehicle tax benefits.
IONIQ 6 N is equipped with front and rear motors that produce a combined maximum output of 448 kW (609 horsepower) and maximum torque of 740 Nm (75.5 kgf·m), and when using the "N Green Boost," which provides maximum acceleration performance for a certain period, it outputs an even more powerful combined maximum output of 478 kW (650 horsepower) and maximum torque of 770 Nm (78.5 kgf·m).
Hyundai Motor applied an 84.0 kWh high-output battery to the IONIQ 6 N and the "N battery" function, which optimally controls battery temperature and output for driving purposes to help use power performance more efficiently. The company also applied next-generation suspension geometry and stroke-responsive electronically controlled suspension (ECS) dampers to the IONIQ 6 N to provide customers with predictable and stable high-speed driving sensations.
In addition, front "hydro G bushing," which reduces vibration through fluid movement, and rear "dual layer bushing," which reduces road surface bump vibration and strengthens lateral movement, provide comfortable ride quality for everyday driving while satisfying driving performance suited to a high-performance car.
Hyundai Motor also applied a range of evolved high-performance electrification specifications to the IONIQ 6 N, including N e-shift and N ambient shift light, N Active Sound Plus, N Drift Optimizer, N Green Boost, N Torque Distribution, N Pedal, N regenerative braking, N Track Manager, TPMS custom mode, N Race Cam, and action cam mounting, delivering an enjoyable and thrilling driving experience to customers.
Hyundai Motor launched the IONIQ 6 N special limited package commemorating the 10th anniversary of N, the "10 Years Pack," alongside the start of IONIQ 6 N sales.
The 10 Years Pack, which consists of a choice of "suede interior + premium interior package" and a "sport design package," will be offered to customers who contract within October and take delivery within the year, and includes dedicated door spot lamps and license plate guards, priority to purchase and install the IONIQ 6 N carbon aero parts package, an invitation to a track day held at the HMG Driving Experience Center, key case, pouch bag and other IONIQ 6 N collection items, and a preview membership for the membership program the Nthusiast.
