Hanwha Aerospace said on the 29th that it held the 2025 Best Partners Day in Busan on the 26th–27th.
Chief Executive Son Jae-il of Hanwha Aerospace, key executives, and representatives from 56 partner companies attended the event. Hanwha Aerospace shared its future vision and strategic direction for partnership and discussed ways to ensure the sustained growth of Korea's defense industry ecosystem by securing global competitiveness.
Twenty-two companies that received top marks in areas such as quality and management received outstanding partner trophies and prize money.
This year, the awards categories were expanded from the existing purchasing category to a total of three categories, including quality and win-win cooperation. In particular, the event featured a town hall meeting with partners to foster communication aimed at strengthening global competitiveness.
Hanwha Aerospace has formed a "win-win cooperation council" with key partners and is running various programs for shared growth.
Since last year, it has been operating a benchmarking program that visits global defense sites with top partners to identify the latest industry trends. It is also supporting the establishment of management systems through customized training and consulting to respond to global regulations and strengthen partners' ESG management.
Son said, "The greatest strength that has enabled Hanwha Aerospace to grow into a global defense company is the passion and dedication of our partners," adding, "We will actively explore various support and cooperation measures to leap forward together as a global company."
