PersonaAI, an AI specialist corporations, said on the 22nd that its six-month challenge of broadcasting nonstop news around the clock using its self-developed generative AI engine was officially recognized as a world record.
PersonaAI broadcast live news via its YouTube channel for a total of 182 days and 4,368 hours from Jan. 22 to Jul. 22, and received a successful evaluation and official record certification from the World Record Committee (WRC) in the United States for the achievement.
The project is characterized by fully automating the entire broadcasting process by combining generative AI technology. PersonaAI operated three generative AI engines simultaneously to collect and analyze news in real time, produce video, and synthesize subtitles and voice for transmission at the same time. Every step was carried out independently by AI without human intervention.
During the review, the WRC examined the agent of news generation, broadcast continuity, log records, and AI system operations in a comprehensive manner. As a result, it certified PersonaAI's "longest-duration generative AI live news broadcast" challenge as an official world record. This is an international achievement that goes beyond the domestic certification by the Korea Record Institute (KRI) on Aug.
PersonaAI secured stability by designing its own servers and operating infrastructure that enable long, nonstop transmission. The company said the challenge served as an opportunity to showcase Korea's AI capabilities to the world and drew attention from many countries overseas.
A PersonaAI official said, "We feel great pride in setting a world record with purely Korean technology," adding, "This achievement shows that AI technology and content are fully viable in real-world global environments." The official continued, "We will continue to introduce innovative AI solutions that can be used across industries."
