Korean Air said on the 22nd that it will launch open hiring for 2026 to secure top talent to lead the aviation industry.
Starting today, Korean Air will begin accepting applications on its hiring website for entry-level and professional positions, as well as entry-level flight attendants.
Applications for entry-level flight attendants close by 6 p.m. on Oct. 13 (Mon.). For entry-level and professional positions, applications will be accepted until 4 p.m. on Oct. 14 (Tue.).
Korean Air plans to actively recruit talent with specialized expertise and strong capabilities in each field ahead of the full launch of the integrated airline.
Recruitment areas for entry-level employees are divided into ▲ general positions ▲ technical positions (aviation technology, aerospace). For technical positions, applicants can choose their preferred work location between the Gyeongin area and Busan depending on the work area. Anyone who has already graduated in the relevant major or is expected to graduate in Feb. 2026, holds a language score above the standard, and has no restrictions on overseas travel can apply.
The professional talent recruitment is designed to actively hire people with expertise and growth potential in specific fields, allowing both entry-level and experienced candidates to apply.
The recruitment areas are ▲ general positions (passenger RM, materials, labor, in-flight service) ▲ IT (IT development, Cloud, Data, Network) ▲ facilities institutional sector. Applicants who have already graduated in the relevant major or are expected to graduate in Feb. 2026, have a language score above the standard and meet the qualifications for the related field, and have no restrictions on overseas travel may apply. Even non-majors can apply as experienced candidates if they have at least two years of work experience in the relevant area.
Korean Air will also hire entry-level flight attendants responsible for cabin safety and service. Applicants must be scheduled to graduate by Aug. 2026 or already have graduated, and must meet a certain language score and have corrected vision of 1.0 or higher.
The hiring schedule will proceed through ▲ document screening ▲ interviews ▲ health checkups, with entry planned around January next year. Detailed schedules for each stage after the document screening will be provided individually at a later date.
