LG AI Research said on the 21st that it held an event at the London Stock Exchange on the 19th (local time) with London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) to announce the commercialization service of its financial artificial intelligence (AI) agent, "EXAONE Business Intelligence (EXAONE-BI)."
EXAONE-BI is a financial AI agent that performs the entire process from data analysis to future forecasting and report writing without human intervention. LSEG plans to introduce EXAONE-BI to its business that provides vast financial market data and analyzed materials to investors worldwide.
LG AI Research designed EXAONE-BI with a structure in which four AI agents, each serving as an expert, collaborate.
The "AI journalist" collects vast external data such as news, corporate disclosures, and macro indicators to generate data. The "AI economist" predicts future market trends and economic outlooks based on the data generated by the AI journalist. The "AI analyst" synthesizes the predictions and internal indicator analyses to capture key factors and abnormal signals that may affect stocks, and generates an easy-to-understand report. The "AI decision-maker" compares and evaluates various scenarios along with the report generated by the AI analyst to produce a score to assist investor decision-making.
LSEG sells "AEFS," a data product made from the predicted scores and reports by EXAONE-BI, to investors worldwide.
Im Woo-hyung, co-head of LG AI Research, said, "EXAONE-BI, which combines LG's forecasting technology with AI agent technology, will evolve into an advanced artificial intelligence expert service in which each expert agent collaborates to demonstrate collective intelligence." He said, "The collaboration with LSEG proves the value and competitiveness of LG's vertical AI technology in the global market," adding, "It will be the full-fledged starting point for revenue generation using AI."
Todd Hartman, head of LSEG's Data & Feeds Group, said, "With this service introduction, analysis and forecasting across a wide range of the capital markets—from large caps to micro caps—has become possible."
