Mercedes-Benz Korea, together with the Seoul Business Agency and Viva Republica, selected five final participating corporations for the promising startup growth program Startup Autobahn Korea (STARTUP AUTOBAHN Korea) 2025 and will begin a 100-day incubation journey through December.
Startup Autobahn Korea was introduced domestically in 2020 from the global open innovation platform the Mercedes-Benz Group headquarters started in 2016, and it supports promising startups in multiple ways, offering expert mentoring and networking opportunities, chances to attract investment through venture capital (VC), and other growth opportunities.
The four startups selected this time by Mercedes-Benz Korea show potential in the future mobility field: Cogcom (Cogcom, specializing in artificial intelligence work automation), Knotters (Knotters, digital transformation and marketing solutions), Perseus (Perseus, connected car virtualization security solutions), and TAMS (TAMS, financial intermediation solutions), and Viva Republica selected To the Moon (To the Moon, game solutions) as a supported company.
These corporations will enter a 100-day growth project, during which they will carry out processes such as project development collaboration, incubation and mentoring together with field experts and engineers, and will present project results at Expo Day in December.
Matthias Beutl, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Korea, said Startup Autobahn Korea is a growth program that helps promising domestic startups demonstrate growth potential and prepare for greater challenges, and he added he hopes the selected startups freely realize their ideas and produce results that can compete on the global stage.
Since its first domestic launch in 2020, Startup Autobahn Korea has nurtured a total of 58 corporations to date, and it also supports the discovery of global capabilities and collaboration opportunities by providing more than 20 additional corporations with chances to participate in the headquarters' Startup Autobahn program and overseas study visits.
