Genesis brand (hereinafter Genesis) will operate the Genesis Public Booth, the largest sponsor brand space, during the 30th Busan International Film Festival held around Busan Cinema Center.
The Genesis Public Booth, open from the 18th to the 25th, is composed of the Cine Library, The Sound Track, an interview room and a cinematic studio, and is designed so that audiences can experience the film festival and the Genesis brand more naturally and broadly through various content.
The Cine Library is a place where audiences can relax while reading, and features Genesis-selected books themed on film, including works related to director Park Chan-wook's opening film "No Other Choice," books on major festival winners and books related to past Busan International Film Festival screenings.
The Sound Track is set up so visitors can listen to original soundtracks of several classic films on LP records and recall the emotions they felt while watching the films.
The interview room and cinematic studio are spaces where visitors can leave memories with Genesis and the film festival in interview videos and photographs.
In addition, Genesis operated backstage where directors, actors and other attendees stayed before moving to the red carpet on the 17th, when the festival opening ceremony was held
A Genesis official said it is an opportunity to show Genesis' sincerity toward film and the arts and said the brand will continue to enrich its philosophy through ongoing engagement with culture and the arts. Genesis has been an official sponsor of the Busan International Film Festival, Asia's largest film festival, since 2017, and this year again supports protocol vehicles of about 100 vehicles across all models and funding for development.
