New low-cost carrier (LCC) Parata Air said on the 17th it will launch regular service starting on the 30th with the Yangyang–Jeju route. Starting Oct. 26, it will also operate the Gimpo–Jeju route.
There is also a promotion to mark the first flight. One-way tickets for the Gimpo–Jeju and Yangyang–Jeju routes start at 9,900 won aggregates with the fuel surcharge waived. The promotion runs for five days starting at 5 p.m. on the 17th.
After the fuel surcharge waiver ends, a "unlimited change fee 0 won" promotion that allows travelers to change their itineraries freely with no limit on the number of times will run from the 22nd to Nov. 6. Travelers can change their itineraries any number of times up to two weeks before departure. The travel period for promotional tickets is from Sept. 30 to Nov. 30.
To differentiate its service, it plans to offer bottled water and its self-developed beverage "Peach on Board" free of charge on domestic routes.
Parata Air was reborn when home appliance company WINIX acquired Fly Gangwon in Aug. last year. A Parata Air official said, "We are launching the first flight that executives and employees have awaited with one heart for a long time," and added, "We will do our best to create a safe and happy journey."
