Korea Toyota Motor will hold a customer participation event, Toyota Gazoo Racing Experience Day, at the multi-culture space CONNECT TO from Sept. 11 to 24.
Following May, this is the second time the event is being held and it was planned so visitors can broadly experience the dynamic sensibility and driving enjoyment of Toyota's motorsports brand Toyota Gazoo Racing (TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, TGR). In particular, the entire CONNECT TO space was reconfigured with a racing track concept so visitors can feel the vivid motorsports atmosphere in the city.
During the event, there will be a special exhibition of the GR Supra stock car and GR86, a branding wall introducing GR86 parts and features, and a TGR collection exhibition showcasing various lifestyle items. The TGR collection can be purchased through the YO! TOYOTA! app, which is connected via an on-site QR code.
Also, to commemorate the event a TGR special menu will be launched. Newly offered items include the TGR Champions Smoothie, inspired by a drink enjoyed by the Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally team, and the TGR Rookie Smoothie for child customers.
The TGR racing simulator game is open to anyone who purchases a TGR special menu, and achieving a lap-time mission will earn a TGR mini car and badge. The top 20 will also receive tickets to the 2025 O-NE Superrace Championship race to be held in November.
Also, the TGR mini car assembly class and racing competition held on Sept. 13 and 20 is a program where participants race the mini cars they assemble themselves, and outstanding record holders will receive a TGR special set menu. Participation applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through CONNECT TO Naver reservations.
Lee Byung-jin, vice president of Korea Toyota Motor, said the event was arranged so customers can directly experience the dynamic appeal and motorsports sensibility of the Toyota GR brand, and said the company will continue to present differentiated programs that can convey the joy of racing and the value of the Toyota GR brand in everyday life.
On Sept. 21, CONNECT TO will broadcast live the round 7 race of the 2025 O-NE Superrace Championship to bring the on-site excitement to motorsports fans.
