Honda Korea invited Japanese riding master "Ken Nemoto" to hold the second on-site riding training event "Honda Ride Lecture."

On the 6th, a special riding education event was held at the Honda Education Center in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province. The official event name is "Honda Ride Lecture with Ken Nemoto."

As the event name suggests, this is the second edition this year. The aim is to provide Honda motorcycle customers with a safe and enjoyable riding experience as well as special memories.

"Ken Nemoto" is regarded as a true riding master, possessing both practical experience and theory, and is considered one of Japan's top motorcycle education experts.

The first edition of the training, held in May, garnered high satisfaction and positive responses from participants, and this second edition saw a total of 15 attendees amid high competition. The second edition optimized the number of participants to create an upgraded tailored training environment and included two additional assistant instructors, including an instructor from the Honda Education Center, to ensure a more effective learning experience for participants.

The riding training was a one-day class that was not only focused on simple motorcycle riding skills but also emphasized improving operational abilities based on understanding of motorcycles, consisting of both theoretical and practical programs. The training progressed through five main chapters: basic motorcycle operations, braking, clutch, cornering, traction, and direction changes, providing in-depth training that addressed common concerns riders have as well as their overall needs for improving riding skills. Customers who completed the training were given commemorative T-shirts signed by Ken Nemoto and a certificate of completion.

Lee Ji-hong, CEO of Honda Korea, noted, "We will continue to provide ongoing motorcycle safe driving education through the Honda Education Center to contribute to establishing motorcycle culture in Korea."

Ken Nemoto, who was invited that day, started his participation in the All Japan Road Race Championship in 1966 and became the first non-manufacturer affiliated rider to win the All Japan 750cc Championship in 1973. In 1987, he also participated in the 24 hours of Le Mans endurance race in France with the Honda NR750 machine and completed the Suzuka 8 Hours endurance race in 1995. From 2001 to 2015, he participated in races at Daytona International Speedway for 15 consecutive years, boasting a brilliant motorcycle career. Currently, he provides various riding-related content to many riders around the world through various channels.
