Volvo has introduced a new model that combines its symbol, the Cross Country, with a pure electric vehicle. Volvo Car Korea unveiled the actual vehicle of the 'EX30 Cross Country' to media representatives on the 4th at the Volvo Cars Yongsan showroom in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
The EX30CC is a model born from Volvo's adventurous attempt. This is the first time the brand has combined the strong heritage of the Cross Country with a pure electric SUV. Based on the existing pure electric EX30, the body has been raised and an all-wheel drive (AWD) system has been adopted to ensure freedom even in the harsh environments of Northern Europe.
The interior is designed with a 'Pine Room' theme inspired by the pine and fir leaves of Scandinavian forests. The smart and minimal interior design reflects Volvo's design sensibility. The charcoal-colored interior creates a modern yet cozy atmosphere using natural materials such as responsibly produced wool and recycled polyester blend, as well as Nordic bio-material made from pine oil sourced from Sweden and Finland.
The model is released in the top Ultra single trim, with a selling price of 55.16 million won (after eco-friendly tax benefits, excluding subsidies).
