Kia announced on the 1st that it will hold the 'Pre-Chuseok Festa' event offering purchase benefits ahead of Chuseok.
The Pre-Chuseok Festa consists of a 'Time Deal Promotion' providing special purchase benefits for six major popular vehicle models and a 'Exhibition Car Special Promotion' offering additional purchase benefits of up to 1 million won for 14 Kia exhibition vehicle models.
The Time Deal Promotion is a limited-time event that adds 500,000 won to the purchase benefits based on the production month, with the targeted vehicle models and maximum discount amounts being 3 million won for EV6, 1 million won for EV3 and EV4, 2 million won for K8, 1.5 million won for Niro Hybrid, and 1 million won for K5.
From September 1 to 15, benefits will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis for about 6,000 vehicles, and the event will close early once the limited quantities for each model are exhausted.
For electric vehicles, the expected actual purchase prices reflecting government subsidies and local government subsidies when purchased through the Time Deal Promotion are approximately 36.92 million won for the EV3 Air Long Range model, about 37.39 million won for the EV4 Air Long Range model, and around 42.75 million won for the EV6 Air Long Range model.
The Exhibition Car Special Promotion will be held for 1,300 exhibition cars throughout the month of September. It will provide additional purchase benefits of up to 1 million won for 14 vehicle models, including K5, K8, K9, Niro, Seltos, Sportage, Sorento, Carnival, Tasan, Bongo, EV3, EV4, EV6, and EV9, and will close early once the limited quantities for each model are exhausted.
Additionally, Kia will conduct a test drive event supporting vehicles for homebound trips during this year's Chuseok holiday period.
Kia will provide a total of 180 vehicles, including the first pickup 'The Kia Tasan' and the sedan-type electric vehicle 'The Kia EV4', along with EV6, EV9, K5, and K8, free of charge for 8 days and 9 nights from October 2 to October 10. Those wishing to participate in the test drive event can apply through the event page on Kia's official website from September 15 to September 21. If there are many applicants, a drawing will be held.
