Nicolas Paris, the new CEO of Renault Korea, will take office on Sept. 1.
Nicolas Paris, the new CEO, earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and graduated from the Reims Management School in France. He joined the Renault Group in 2015 after working at the global auto parts company ZF.
At the Renault Group, he has taken on key purchasing responsibilities related to new vehicle development in overseas markets, chassis and platforms, electrification, and advanced technologies. In particular, he served as a purchasing manager at the Innovation Lab in Shanghai, China, for about three years from 2019, deeply involved in the development of advanced technologies in electrification, autonomous driving, and connectivity.
Based on this experience, since 2023, he has served as vice president in charge of purchasing for batteries, e-powertrains, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), connectivity, software, and electronic components, contributing to the group's technological innovations and transition to electric vehicles.
Stéphane Deblèze, the former CEO of Renault Korea, will move to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) overseeing India at Renault Group starting Sept. 1.
