Hanwha Vision participated in the largest security exhibition in the Oceania region, showcasing various artificial intelligence (AI) video solutions.
Hanwha Vision noted on the 31st that it gained attention at the 'Security Exhibition & Conference' that opened in Sydney, Australia, on the 27th (local time) with technologies including the AI system-on-chip (SoC) 'Wisenet 9.'
Wisenet 9 processes improved image quality and AI video analysis with two neural processing units (NPUs). It boasts three times the inference performance compared to the previous generation, Wisenet 7. Cameras based on Wisenet 9 provide clear images even in harsh environments with stark contrast.
Interest was also drawn to solutions that manage data analyzed through AI in the cloud. Among them, 'SightMind' visualizes statistics based on video data such as customer mobility patterns and provides business insights that can enhance operational efficiency.
A representative from Hanwha Vision said, "Video surveillance equipment supports decision-making that enhances store operational efficiency, going beyond simple monitoring," and added, "We will leap forward as a core player in the Oceania security market, including Australia and New Zealand, by expanding our AI and cloud-based portfolio."
