On the 29th, the funeral service corporation Boram Funeral confirmed that it has ranked first in the funeral service sector of the "2025 Brand of the Year Awards" for five consecutive years.
The Brand of the Year Awards is a prestigious event organized by the Korea Consumer Brand Committee and hosted by the Korea Consumer Forum. The voting for selection of award-winning brands took place from June 30 to July 13, with approximately 880,000 consumers participating. In the funeral service sector, Boram Funeral scored 8.01 out of a total of 10 points, surpassing competing brands to take first place.
In the evaluation of the 2030 generation, it has maintained first place every year. The Boram Funeral brand has been highly regarded not only by its primary customer base of middle-aged and elderly individuals but also by younger generations.
Founded in 1991, Boram Funeral is a leading brand in the funeral industry, pioneering its popularization by establishing a price fixing system, a cyber memorial hall, and mobile obituary notifications. It currently operates 13 directly managed funeral halls in major cities across the country, including Uijeongbu, Incheon, Cheonan, and Busan.
It is also expanding its business scope. In partnership with MegaStudyEdu, it will support educational benefits for the children of its members and provide health examination services through the health check platform "Kind Doctor." Collaborating with the golf resort operator Artitaya and the Korea Park Golf Federation, it is planning products related to golf and park golf, further extending into leisure services.
Additionally, it operates specialized brands for pet funerals, such as "Sky Pet," and brands for both humans and pets' bio-jewelry, "Via Gem" and "Pets Via."
