Eastar Jet announced on the 28th that it will launch flights to Yantai, China.
The Incheon-Yantai route will operate daily, seven times a week, starting from the 19th of next month. The outbound flight departs from Incheon International Airport at 7 a.m. and arrives at Yantai Penglai International Airport at 7:30 a.m. (local time), while the return flight departs locally at 8:30 a.m. and arrives at Incheon International Airport around 11 a.m.
Yantai, also well known as 'Yuan Taijiu', is a coastal city located in the northern Shandong Peninsula of China. It is an economic hub with industrial complexes of major corporations from China and Korea. It is easily accessible, with a travel time of 90 minutes from Incheon, and offers various landmarks, natural scenery, and prestigious golf courses.
To celebrate the launch of the Incheon-Yantai route, Eastar Jet is conducting a special promotion for flights to China through its website and mobile app starting today. The lowest one-way aggregate prices, including airport taxes and fuel surcharges, are ▲ Yantai 55,600 won ▲ Shanghai 69,400 won ▲ Zhengzhou 74,400 won. An Eastar Jet official noted, "Yantai, China, is a route where stable commercial demand can be expected," adding, "As visa-free entry for Chinese group tourists will be allowed starting at the end of next month, inbound tourism demand is expected to increase."
