Ettifos, a semiconductor and communication equipment corporation specializing in vehicle-to-everything (V2X), has partnered with P3Mobility, an advanced mobility service corporation in the United States, for a full-scale assault on the North American market. Ettifos announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with P3Mobility on the 27th (local time) at the 'Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) World Congress' held in Atlanta, USA, to co-develop and supply next-generation V2X solutions for the North American region.
Under this agreement, the two corporations will jointly develop an integrated next-generation product that combines Ettifos's V2X hardware and communication software 'stack' with P3Mobility's V2X application services specialized for the U.S. market. They plan to showcase a solution that can be immediately deployed for V2X-related projects organized by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).
P3Mobility, headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is a specialized V2X solution provider participating in numerous V2X-related projects commissioned by the U.S. Department of Transportation. The company is characterized not only by its participation in government budget projects but also by a public-private partnership model, which involves collaboration between the government and private corporations to share funding, technology, and operations in carrying out road infrastructure projects.
Through this MOU, the two corporations plan to pursue projects that can secure a competitive edge in the U.S. market, develop solutions through technology support and expertise sharing, jointly carry out awarded V2X projects, and engage in joint marketing and promotional activities. Additionally, Ettifos and P3Mobility intend to strengthen a solution ecosystem that is scalable and interoperable in line with North American transportation policy directions and is immediately available.

Immediately after signing this agreement, the two corporations will begin identifying joint business opportunities, particularly focusing on projects that significantly enhance road safety and mobility improvements, actively proposing integrated V2X solutions.
