On the 20th, the mobile ticketing specialist 'Maskit' announced that it has signed a ticket sales agency contract for the '2025 Busan International Performing Arts Market (BPAM)' with the Busan Cultural Foundation.
With this contract, Maskit will be responsible for the mobile ticket reservations and operations for the opening performance, Choice (full-length performance), and showcase programs of the Busan International Performing Arts Market, which will be held at the Busan Cultural Center, Busan Citizens' Hall, and Haeundae Cultural Center from September 24 to 28.
Maskit will provide an AI-based mobile ticket service 'QLESS' for this event, allowing audiences to enter using a QR code mobile ticket without printing. QLESS includes ticket issuance via KakaoTalk notification, one-click event registration, AI discount validation, and audience-customized CRM functions. From the perspective of performance operators, it enables quick settlement and integrated data management.
The 2025 Busan International Performing Arts Market, now in its third edition, is a representative international event that brings together experts in performing arts from Korea and abroad with citizens. A total of 27 performances will take place over 14 sessions, and all performances can be reserved and viewed through mobile tickets.
Through this event, Maskit plans to demonstrate the changes in audience experience brought about by the introduction of mobile tickets in the performing arts industry and to expand AI technology applicable to public services.
A representative of Maskit noted, 'The mobile ticket service for the Busan International Performing Arts Market will serve as a symbolic case in the digital transformation of the performing arts market,' adding, 'We will build a smart viewing environment centered on mobile tickets for various cultural and artistic events.'
