Samhwa Paints accelerates its efforts to target the automotive repair paint market.
Samhwa Paints announced on the 13th that it has launched the automotive repair paint "Carocle THE Good Clear." Automotive repair paint is used for repainting vehicles that have been damaged by scratches, accidents, and other external impacts.
"Carocle THE Good Clear" is a transparent paint that protects the paint surface, and is a high-solid type two-component urethane paint. It also meets the environmental regulatory standard of volatile organic compounds (VOC) below 420g/L.
Samhwa Paints stated that this new product is excellent in terms of transparency, uniform finish, and appearance retention, and it achieves a luxurious gloss. It also emphasized that the product exhibits less spread when heated during application, improving work convenience and allowing for uniform coating. Particularly, it minimizes the pinhole phenomenon, which frequently occurs in summer, enabling stable painting even in the continuing hot weather. The pinhole phenomenon is the occurrence of tiny holes in the paint surface, which can lead to temporal and expense losses due to repainting, making its prevention a key technology.
Samhwa Paints has renewed the "Carocle" series of automotive repair paint with the launch of this new product. This is aimed at strengthening the identity of the existing "Carocle" brand and expanding the business beyond the domestic market to overseas.
